Roxanne Pallett

British actress Roxanne Pallett stole our hearts when she burst onto our screens in 2005 in ITV's Emmerdale as Jo Stiles-Sugden. She instantly earned national recognition and nominations for Best Actress, Sexiest Female, and Best Storyline. Her portrayal as the feisty but flawed character gripped the nation with the biggest domestic abuse storyline on screen that year, earning the actress 6 nominations and huge critical acclaim for her emotional performance as the vulnerable Jo.

Pallett departed the show in January 2009 to 'earn her stripes and discover new characters' then immediately starred in ITV's Dancing On Ice (Season 4) wowing audiences with her impressive daredevil moves such as the 'head banger' and later performing to sell out crowds at the 02 Arena and Wembley on Torvill and Dean's Bolero Anniversary National Tour.

2010 saw Roxanne treading the boards in three consecutive lead theatre roles - 1950's musical Rock Around The Clock, Eve Ensler's sell-out UK tour  The Vagina Monologues and in 2011 she won the role of Tina in two-hander, Satin 'n' Steel, directed by Joyce Branagh, which won her as much credibility and popularity on stage as she did previously on screen.

Roxanne then joined hit drama Waterloo Road as troubled teen Shelby Dixon and most recently played crazed control freak, Keeley Hyatt, in BBC 1's Casualty.

Other credits include Celebrity Stars in Their Eyes (which she won as Gloria Estefan), Soapstar Superstar and Dancing on Ice.
