Mike began his illustrious career in holiday parks in 1976 entertaining all age groups. In 1979 he moved onto the northern club scene, workingmen’s clubs, pubs and hotels where he carved out a hugely successful career.
His shows reach out to all audiences. He developed a distinctive style of humour mixed with lots of one line gags. His timing is immaculate and his jokes are up to date and original.
Now with nearly 40 years experience under his belt, mike performs a mixture of observational comedy in with the one liners.
He has performed for Warner hotels, Bourne Leisure, Butlins, Haven and the Variety Club of Great Britain to name but a few and has thrilled audiences at many Masonic, golf, theatre, Rotary and summer show events.
Mike has presented radio shows since 1997 and has also performed on TV shows such as New Faces, The New Comedians and Pot of Gold with Des O’Connor, the list goes on and on.
He won a comedy award by the sun newspaper “Comedy Prince of the North in 1993”.
He’s had rave reviews from “The Stage” newspaper and Bernard Manning.
He can entertain using completely clean material.
