Tony was born in Liverpool
Tony is a multi-instrumentalist, playing: Drums, Rhythm Guitar, Mandolin, Ukelele, and Harmonica.
Tony started to learn drums aged 14 and quickly formed a band with friends, playing their first bookings before leaving school.
Being able to sing whilst playing drums meant that Tony was very much in demand, working with a number of groups and show bands on the cabaret circuit throughout the UK.
It was during this time that Tony acquired his first guitar, learning from his bandmates to become a very proficient rhythm guitarist. He went solo in 2002; performing his first show in October of that year.
Since then, Tony has become one of the busiest and most popular solo artists on the circuit.
With his natural Liverpool humour and easy manner, Tony has his audiences laughing and singing along, whilst encouraging audience participation; ensuring a good time for all.
Tony is a versatile vocalist with a wide range of music which allows him to judge an audience and sing songs to suit
In 1992-93 Tony worked for two seasons at a hotel in Majorca.
Tony was the resident entertainer from 2009 to 2011 at Oswaldtwistle Mills in Lancashire. Performing themed shows such as St Patrick’s Day/Irish, VE Day, Christmas. Entertaining shoppers whilst they dined in the restaurant.
Tony is currently one of a team of resident singers for Britannia Hotels at the Adelphi in Liverpool.
Over the years Tony has become an excellent Compere/ MC, presenting many award nights for Darts, Domino, Snooker and Pool, and hosting the audition shows once a month for Tameside Concert Secretaries Association.
In 2019, Tony had a very successful summer season at Glan Y Mor Holiday Park in Aberystwyth, Wales as their resident entertainer.
